The family (and friends) album!

So here it is, the definitive Smith/Hadfield (plus others) photograph collection.

I have modified this page after several complaints regarding download time! The idea now is to check out the thumbnail pictures and if there's one you want to see larger, click on it. As I said before the majority of these pictures are video screen captures, and not scans. I have tried to get a good compromise between size and quality on the larger pictures, but even so the larger versions could take a while to download. Most of the main files are about 20k in size. See below each pic for a brief resume of the situation.

Above: Jonathan (brother) and Amanda (wife) view Plymouth from the top of the 'Hoe' lighthouse and (middle pic) same view from below. He used to live in Plymouth, Sheffield, Newcastle and Swansea (third pic, view from his Swansea marina appt.), but now has moved to Sevenoaks. Hello old chap. (Note: I have been informed that Jonathan is not picking his nose on this picture, he is merely scratching it).

Left; Jonathan decides to end it all when he fails to direct us around the grounds of a stately home with his GPS system. Right; JRS at an early age dreaming of owning a car, but all he's got is the steering wheel....my steering wheel.

BiffMutt

Phil Stokes (good friend of mine) explains to me how he intends to climb 'The Devils Tower', North East Wyoming, USA. March 1995 (left). We later gave up on the idea, and drove 300 miles to get a burger instead. See my travel photo section for more pictures of this amazing obelisk. And (right) Phil's hair looking slightly out of place after driving 60 miles on snowmobiles across Yellowstone park (North West Wyoming, USA) dodging mad buffalos in a snowstorm.

Errrr.....it's a baby! In fact Laura Smith at a very early age. About 12 weeks on the ultrascan (left) and 21 weeks (right). Click here to go to Laura's own special page.

Claires nieces Robyn, Rachael and Rebecca enjoy a beautiful summers day at Edgebaston golf club playing on a pile of logs! (this is a fairly large 120k scanned image), and middle, the three of them chase a poor sheep whilst on hols in Devon July 1996. Right Jonathan Brooks (brother in law and father of R, R & R) goes through the 6 monthly ritual of deciding which expensive car he will buy next...it's a BMW 528 this time.

Jonathan doesn't realise he's about to be knifed by Claire after a day snorkelling at Thurlestone beach, South Devon, a beautiful part of the country. Right, the same beach how I like it, completely deserted (May 96).

Claires oldest (sorry but I had to use that word) sister Sally with Robyn whilst eating breakfast at Sals hotel in Wigan (she was the general manager) Christmas '95. And (middle) Alex, son of Nick and Lesley realises something terrible has happened. Don't ask me what it was though. New on the page is Charlotte, elder sister of Alex, pictured here in the Birmingham science museum restaurant!

More on their way....
